Pastor Eddie Powell is a native of Mobile, Alabama. Eddie Is bi-vocational as he serves as Pastor and is also a licensed and professional Electrical Engineer. He has worked in the Electrical utility industry for more than 20 years. He holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in electrical engineering. He is also currently pursuing his master’s degree in divinity. He was licensed and ordained to preach in 2007 at Mt. Calvary Baptist church in Mobile AL. He was the executive pastor at Faith walkers church in Birmingham, Al before assuming the role of lead Pastor at TLC. 
 

Eddie has been married to Antonia Powell for 22 years. They have three boys EJ (21), Josh (17), and Braxton (15). Eddie loves cooking barbecue for his family and supporting the many activities of his three boys. His three boys are very active in music, sports, and church.  
 

In 2016 while attending a church planters conference, God gave him the vision to plant a new church. In 2021, Eddie and his family relocated to Baldwin County and began the task of planting TLC.  TLC began holding bible studies in March 2023 which later turned into complete face to face worship services.
